Chapter one was bitter-sweet.
great at the beginning and unexpectedly bitter at the end.
The ending was so bad.. but instead of trying to rush to the next page in hope of better stories to come. The reader was stuck at that very last page, unable to move forward, harping over how the plot turn out this way.
The reader was held up in chapter one for way too long, where supposedly
peaceful nights became war with her thoughts and burden to her heart.
She was very into chapter one because she fell hard for the story line and was only looking forward to an expected happy ending for the characters inside despite how the summary at the back of the book describes how chapter one would subsequently turn out.
She wasn't sure, if the author found a better time to fit the bitterness, it would've been a better end to the story.
Things that happen unexpectedly kills because its
unforeseen, unanticipated, unpredicted, out of the blue, without warning, without notice.
Stories are mean't to be how it was written. The reader was the one who choose to buy the book and paid for it, who else can she blame? the person who recommended the book, the author or herself?
it's never easy to let go of something you are so drawn to, just like chapter one.
However, chapter two was still waiting to be read and it's finally time to move on to the next chapter.
